Q: What is the shelf life of these gardens?
A: All garden kits and wildflower shaker cans are good for about 24 months.

Q: Are your gardens guaranteed to grow?
A: Yes!  Absolutely 100% Guaranteed to grow. We use easy-grow seeds so that anyone with a window and sunlight can grow a beautiful garden all year long. If for any reason a customer’s garden does not grow, the customer just sends us a note and we’ll send them a new packet of seeds as a replacement.

Q: Which garden kits are your best sellers?
A: We have a Top 20 Seller PrePack which lists our top 20 garden kits. Most customers order four each of the Top 20, making 80 units. The Top 20 PrePack is always in stock for a quick ship program.

Q: Which garden kits sell better: the Blooms in a Bag or the Blooms in a Can?
A: It seems to be running close to 75-25 in favor of the cans. Some stores choose one or the other; while others split their order for half bags and half cans. 

Q: Are these garden kits considered a card or a gift?
A: Both. In fact, the Blooms in a Bag garden kits are easily mailable. Just place a stamp and name and address information on one side and drop in the mail. No need for an extra envelope as it meets all United States Postal regulations and takes two ounces of postage. These exclusive garden kits are both a card and a gift item.

Q: How much does each product cost?
A: All products are $3.95 wholesale with a suggested retail price of $7.95-$8.95.

Q: What is the minimum order?
A: Minimum orders are $100. There is a 4 piece per product minimum.

Q: Are the plants and flowers grown right inside the containers?
A: Yes. The plants for the Blooms in a Can and for the Blooms in a Bag are grown right inside their containers—the bags or the cans. Just plant the easy-grow seeds in the provided enriched soil mix and add water and sunlight. It is that simple. The plants can easily be transplanted outdoors in warmer weather.

The Wildflower Seed Shakers are for outdoor gardens and are just as easy to use. Simply sprinkle the seeds outside in a sunny location and cover with 1/8” of soil. Add water and enjoy. These colorful wildflower gardens should bloom from Spring through Fall, year after year.
 
Q: Do you offer a counter display stand?
A: We offer a hand-crafted, all-natural stair-step wooden display rack for just $19.90 The display headers have a blank price circle for the customer to fill in. The display rack holds 20 Cans and Bags and 24 Wildflower Shakers.

Q: Do you provide any other Point-of-Sale?
A: We provide two 11” x 17” pre-priced window poster signs with each order. The poster matches the header card pictured on the display stand.

Q: Do you have different Wildflower Seed Shaker Cans?
A: We have created dozens of the Wildflower Shaker Cans in several themes. The easy-grow seeds were chosen to grow in all regions of the country and attract both butterflies and birds and they are intended strictly for outdoor use. Many of these gardens grow flowers in particular colors, such as all white for the wedding garden, all red for the love garden, all pink for the breast cancer awareness garden, etc.

We now have a 50-state series of Wildflower Shaker Cans, with one mix for each state, with seeds specially selected to grow in that state and surrounding states. They are also available in several cities, and we can customize a shaker can for any city or theme for a 150 piece order.

We also have a Team Spirit Collection, featuring flowers that bloom in any school’s colors.  These should sell extremely well in any town with a popular high school or college team. Imagine growing a field of flowers in the colors of your favorite team and watching it bloom for many months, year after year!

Q: Will the containers leak?
A: No.  Both the Blooms in a Can and Blooms in a Bag containers are 100% leak-resistant.

Q: Can you do custom design graphics and seeds?
A: Absolutely! We do custom design work and name drops for museums, wedding favors, business gifts, special community events, fundraisers, etc. There is a 150 piece minimum order per design, plus a $69 one-time setup charge for your own full-color imprint. The wholesale price is still only $3.95 each.

Q: Are these garden kits seasonal?
A: Although people may associate gardening with Spring and Summer, our garden gifts are year-round gifts that can begin growing in all four seasons, giving you four seasons of profits.   

Along with all the seasonal holidays, the life-cycle events and special occasion themes (birthdays, anniversary, get well, wedding, new baby, congratulations, love, etc.) are all high impulse fast sellers all year long. Our exclusive gifts are unique, have a low price point and are long lasting.

Q: What is the standard turnaround time?
A: Since all orders are handcrafted exclusively for you, it takes about one to two weeks to ship an order.

Q: Can you ship my order outside of the United States?
A: Orders of at least $2,500 can be shipped to Canada and other countries.  Department of Agriculture fees are approximately $95, which includes a required PHYTO sanitary certificate, which is added to the freight costs.  You would need to hire a local customs broker to assist with paperwork.

Q: How long has your company been in business?
A:  Although Gifts That Bloom has only been on the market for about a year and a half, it is a division of Merit Industries, a family business since 1956.
